Winter Walk Day (WWD) is an annual celebration of winter walking on the first Wednesday of February.
This year, Winter Walk Day is on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, and the start of Winter Walk Month. Schools can celebrate winter walking and remind students and families that active travel doesn’t need to stop when the weather gets colder.
SCA will be participating in this initiative on Wednesday, February 7th 2024. Students are asked to dress for the weather as they will be walking around the neighborhood or the school yard to celebrate winter walking.
